This meeting was held at the flying field on March 29, 2026 at approximately 2:30 pm. There were 12 members in attendance. Tony Conrad presided over the meeting.
The minutes of the previous meeting were posted on the club website. Tony made a motion to accept the minutes and Jeff seconded.
Old Business
Tony plans to get a trailer for the new port-a-potty. He will also pick up a black tank. Kevin is ok with working at his place to put everything together. The building is likely to happen sometime at the end of April or early May. We will get about a 7x7’ shelter to put on the trailer. Tony asked where we wanted to park the new trailer. Everyone agreed that the current location is where we should keep it. Dean said he can get more stone if needed. The water that we will use will NOT be safe for drinking as we plan to collect rainwater.
Kaitlin needs to send the new website link to everyone. We also may be able to integrate the existing club page on Facebook with the new website. Kaitlin will look into that more.
For the fun fly and picnic this year, AMA recommended all clubs doing something on August 22nd this year. Tony is not available that day. It was suggested to look for another date. August 29th was then proposed as the tentative date. Everyone agreed on that as a tentative date to confirm later.

New Business
Dean Stephens asked if the club would be okay with naming him as the club’s Introductory Pilot trainer with AMA. This would offer the club more liability insurance through AMA. The club has another trainer in the clubhouse that can be used as well. Steve Myers made a motion to approve and Brian Kuzma seconded.
Tony asked if there were any flight tables we needed to remove. No one had any in mind and we will leave them as is for now.
Tony asked once the port-a-potty is replace what should we do with the old ones. Everyone agreed we should give them away. Tony mentioned the county might want one.
We scheduled our our roadside clean-up for Sunday, April 19th @ 1 PM.
Tubbs was nominated and elected as Treasurer (unopposed).
